Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father took keen interest from a young age in the theater. He was an actor on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. During his time located in Biloxi Mississippi, was a part of an military production starring Betty Lou Bredemus who was an air force member as well. The couple married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter as well as his spouse resigned from the Air Force in 1957, at which time they were enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter started his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local TV specifically for children called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, and they paid themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
