Jenna Fischer is best known for her character Pam Beesly on the acclaimed TV show The Office, for which she won the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in An Ensemble Comedy.
Her mother, Anne was a performer in church theater as a child that instilled a love of theater and performance in Jenna. Jenna watched her mom, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was younger that instilled a passion of performing and theater.
Fischer is an actress who has theater training. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons to Be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was a part of. In the month of October, Fischer and The Office co-star and best friend in real life Angela Kinsey started an online podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since gained immense popularity, settling on the Top Ten globally every week and registering more than 200 million downloads in its first two years. In January 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her debut book that chronicles the road she took from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was a professional actress. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography about her best friend and her experience at The Office.
